Adopt-A-School Home > Local Outreach > Adopt-A-School We are in partnership with two school communities in Sterling: Sterling Elementary School located at 200 W. Church Road Sully Elementary School located at 300 Circle Drive Both of these schools are located in Sterling and have been adopted by CFC due to their Title 1 status which means that more than 50% of the school population qualifies for free or reduced lunch. CFC is partnered with Sully Elementary and Sterling Elementary Schools and this provides opportunities for tangible and relational engagement for the people of CFC. CFC Local Outreach partners with school communities on a regular basis to come alongside the outstanding staff, families, and students to work side-by-side to achieve the best educational and genuine community possible. We believe that the school is a hub of any community. Although people may shop at different grocery stores, bank at different banks, attend various faith communities, the school is the common thread to all. The school also has the best, most current knowledge of the needs of the community. Our annual efforts to assist these school communities include: School supplies collection - annually in July "Backpack Buddies" food collection for children who receive free or reduced lunch - annually September through October Event Sponsorship and Support - financial support can enhance current events for provide for future expansion.
